Green Initiative: 1,000 Trees for Albania
Illyrian Home has launched an initiative to plant 1,000 trees in urban areas of Tirana and Durrës, aiming to reduce pollution and create green spaces.
Illyrian Home proudly presents its newest environmental initiative: 1000 Trees for Albania. This ambitious project aims to plant 1,000 native trees in urban areas of Tirana and Durrës throughout 2026.
The first phase of the project began in spring 2026 with the planting of 300 trees in Fresku, Astir, and Blloku districts in Tirana, as well as along the Golem beach in Durrës. The selected tree species—such as Austrian pine, oak, and Mediterranean cypress—are native to the region, well-suited to the local climate, and require minimal maintenance.
In addition to improving air quality and biodiversity, the initiative seeks to raise public awareness about environmental protection. Every month, we organize volunteer sessions where employees and local residents can participate in planting activities.
Illyrian Home is committed to ensuring that every new property we develop includes at least 30% green space.
